Georgette Fabric

Georgette Fabric is a kind of dull-finished crepe material with a distinctive crinkly surface. Originally made from silk, today it is also made from synthetic fibers such as rayon or polyester.

Advantages of georgette fabric:

  • Breathable and lightweight;
  • Has a beautiful drapery;
  • May have a translucent effect;
  • Light Stretch;
  • Holds paint well;
  • Ease of handling.

Georgette is mainly used for the production of light summer clothes: blouses, tunics, dresses, saris and scarves, as well as for various home decor.
