Knit Fabric

Knit Fabric is an elastic and breathable material obtained by knitting, a process of weaving threads formed into loops. It can be made from any fiber including cotton, bamboo, linen, silk, viscose, rayon, polyester and various blends.

Advantages of knit fabric:

  • Soft texture and excellent breathability;
  • Can stretch;
  • Can be thin, airy, warm and cozy;
  • Easy to care.

Disadvantages of knit fabric:

  • Prone to pilling;
  • Not easy to sew.

Manufacturers use different types of knitting to create dresses, shirts, t-shirts, tunics, trousers, robes, underwear and more.
