Knit Fabric is an elastic and breathable material obtained by knitting, a process of weaving threads formed into loops. It can be made from any fiber including cotton, bamboo, linen, silk, viscose, rayon, polyester and various blends.
Advantages of knit fabric:
- Soft texture and excellent breathability;
- Can stretch;
- Can be thin, airy, warm and cozy;
- Easy to care.
Disadvantages of knit fabric:
- Prone to pilling;
- Not easy to sew.
