Nylon Fabric is a fully synthetic material that can be made using various synthetic polymers. The use of this type of material in clothing began with a desire to find an alternative to silk.
Advantages of nylon fabric:
- Is very elastic;
- Durability is superb;
- Has a resistance to static;
- Resistant to any stains.
Disadvantages of nylon fabric:
- Expensive compared to other synthetic fibers;
- Not good for the environment;
- Highly combustible.
Nylon is used to make a variety of garments – swimwear, underwear, cycling wear, raincoats, and even some shirts.
