Organza Fabric is a lightweight, translucent plain weave material. Initially, it was made exclusively from silk, and now also from synthetic fibers, primarily polyester and nylon.
Characteristics of organza fabric:
- Thin and translucent;
- Very airy and breathable;
- It is slightly stiff;
- Easy to wrinkle and tear.
Organza is widely used for making clothes, primarily for wedding dresses and evening wear; as well as for decorative purposes such as curtains, lampshades and other interior items.
