Suede Fabric

Suede Fabric is a kind of leather material with a smooth velvety surface, made from the underside of animal skin. It is usually made from sheepskin, although also from other animal species, including pigs, calves, goats, and deer.

Advantages of suede fabric:

  • Durable and Long Lasting than cloth;
  • Smooth and Soft;
  • Easier to handle than plain leather.

Disadvantages of suede fabric:

  • Thinner and not as strong as leather;
  • Pretty easy to get dirty.

Suede is quite popular for the manufacture of various goods. It is used to make outerwear, shoes and all kinds of accessories, from gloves to bags and belts.
